Yam Chicken Soup

Prepare ingredients

Wash the chicken and chop into pieces.

Peel the yam and cut into sections.

Add appropriate amount of water to the pot and put the chicken pieces in. The water should cover the chicken. Remove the chicken and wash it immediately after it is boiled over high heat.

Put the chicken in a soup pot, add sliced ginger, shallots, and a tablespoon of cooking wine, boil on high heat and then turn to low heat and simmer for 2 hours.

Tips:
1 The chicken stew water should be filled up all at once, and no water should be added in the middle, otherwise the soup will not be mellow.
2 Wear gloves when peeling yam to prevent itchy hands.
