Ingredients

Yam Stewed Chicken Soup

1. The old hen that has been killed, buy it back and wash it. (I asked the seller to chop it off)

2. Wash the prepared red dates, mushrooms and ginger, and cut the ginger into slices.

3. Put the chicken in boiling water and let it simmer for about a minute.

4. Rinse the removed chicken.

5. Put it in a casserole.

6. Pour in the right amount of water. (The water is one finger deep than the chicken)

7. Put the lid on and boil on high heat to remove the foam.

8. Add mushrooms, red dates and ginger slices, cover, reduce heat and simmer for three hours.

9. In the process of boiling, peel and wash the yam. (Wear gloves when handling yam to avoid itching, or you can ask the seller to cut it)

10. Cut into similar pieces.

11. Put the yam in the chicken soup that has been boiling for three hours and continue to cook for half an hour.

12. Turn on high heat, add appropriate amount of salt, cook for one minute and turn off the heat.

Tips:

1. The yam is easy to burn, so it should not be put together.
2. Be sure to put less salt.
