I made the dragon skin cake for this year's annual banquet. Next year is the year of the dragon~! In my hometown, lotus seeds and red dates are generally used. In ancient times, some people said that the snake was a dragon who committed the law of heaven. The Jade Emperor sent people to chop off its hands and feet and was demoted to the heaven. It became a snake, so the snake had no limbs. In that case, I can't overstate snake skin as dragon skin~!

I use red dates and potatoes to make snake meat. If you use lotus seeds, the snake belly is milky white, and the back is dark red with red dates, more like snake meat.
