Yan Yan Yishou-dragon Skin Cake
1.
Prepare raw materials and ingredients.
2.
If you have lotus seeds at home, you can use lotus seeds, steam them in a pressure cooker and press them into mud.
3.
Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices. Place them in a steamer and steam for 10 minutes (the time depends on the slices you cut).
4.
When steaming potatoes, we will handle the red dates. Wash the red dates to remove the core.
5.
Chop the pitted red dates into fine pieces.
6.
Put the butter in the microwave for 1 minute to melt, because it is winter, it is difficult to melt at room temperature. It can melt at room temperature in summer.
7.
Add an appropriate amount of butter to the red date puree, stir well and press tightly. Don't add too much butter!
8.
Take out the steamed potatoes, press them into a puree, and add some butter and stir well. I didn't add any sugar. The red dates have a sweet taste. If you like sweet ones, you can add some sugar.
9.
Cut the spring roll skin into two pieces, take a small piece, and put the red date puree on top. Put on the mashed potatoes, roll over from the edge, and press tightly.
10.
Note that I only use one layer of spring roll wrappers. If you fold it too much, you can cut off the excess. Don't roll many layers like sushi rolls. Use the same method to make all the remaining materials into rolls.
11.
Spread butter or peanut oil evenly on the plate with the roll. Prevent the roll from sticking to the plate while steaming. Put the finished rolls on the plate, do not overlap, and leave gaps in the middle if they are side by side. Prevent the skins from sticking together during steaming.
12.
The prepared rolls are steamed in the steamer for 1 minute in separate water. Be careful to wait for the water to boil before serving.
13.
Let the steamed rolls cool for a while and take them out. Gently pick up one, cut into sections with scissors and place them on the plate. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
14.
When cutting, the scissors should start with the mashed red dates. The mashed potatoes are too soft and easy to cut. You can also wait to let it cool before cutting, which is easier.
