Yangzhou fried rice, also known as Yangzhou egg fried rice, was originally spread among the people. According to legend, it originated from the broken golden rice that Yang Su loved to eat in the Sui Dynasty, namely egg fried rice. When Emperor Sui Yang visited Jiangdu (present-day Yangzhou), he also introduced egg fried rice to Yangzhou.
