Yellow Millet Sweet Potato Porridge

Wash the glutinous rice in advance and soak it overnight. If you are not in a hurry, you don’t need to soak it. I soak it because I have to hurry to finish the porridge and go to work the next day. Soaking can shorten the time for making porridge a bit. (I didn’t buy glutinous rice outside, yes. Mom planted it and dried it, took off the rice husk and gave it to me)

Put the soaked glutinous rice in the rice cooker, then put 1500ml of hot water, press and hold the cooking button to start cooking, after the first time it is boiled, turn the heat preservation button to simmer for 5 minutes, and then continue to press the cooking button to continue boiling after 5 minutes. Press the keep warm button for 5 minutes, (I didn’t take pictures in this step)

At this moment we can cut the sweet potato into cubes

After the glutinous rice is simmered, you can put the yellow millet in the rice cooker and boil it for another 5 minutes (also forget to take the picture)

After the yellow millet is simmered, put a piece of rock sugar and sweet potato into the rice cooker to boil, simmer for 5 minutes, then boil and simmer for 5 minutes
