Air Fryer Version Homemade Dried Lemon
1.
After washing the lemon, rub the surface with salt for a few minutes to thoroughly remove pesticides and fruit wax.
2.
Then cut the lemon thinly and press it, trying to cut it as whole and thinly as possible.
3.
You can go nuclear if you are diligent, so it won't be too bitter. I'm lazy, so I just threw it into the fryer. There is no need to pave it, anyway, it will fly up when it can bake.
4.
Then bake at 100 degrees for about 50 minutes, because everyone’s lemons are different in size and thickness, so check the heat when you bake it to the end, don’t bake it. The oven is also 100 degrees, which takes more than one and a half hours, and the hot air function must be turned on.
5.
The moisture of the lemon slices will gradually dry and start to become dry. Some of the slices that are particularly thin will become a little mushy. Remember to take them out in advance. You need to adjust the temperature flexibly.
6.
The dried lemon slices will be somewhat transparent, so you can take them out and dry them in the air, and then seal them to prevent moisture.
Tips:
1. The baking temperature must not be higher than 100 degrees, otherwise the dried lemon will bake, and the temperature is lower. The principle is to dry the moisture of the lemon slices.
2. The oven will take longer than the fryer. I haven't tried it and I'm impatient, so it is estimated that the oven will last for more than an hour, and the fryer will be between 45-50 minutes.
3. Just take a few tablets and soak in water. However, it should be noted that hot water soaks easily, so it is recommended to soak in cold water.
