Bacon and Potato Braised Rice
1.
Prepare all the ingredients. Clean the potatoes and carrots and peel off the skins. Cut off the ends of the onions and tear off the outer skins.
2.
Cut potatoes, carrots, and onions with a knife into small dices, separate the fat and thin bacon, and cut them into small pieces with a knife.
3.
Heat the pot and add a spoonful of cooking oil. After the oil is hot, put the fat part of the bacon into the pot and stir-fry the oil, and then add the lean part and stir-fry slightly.
4.
Put the onion diced into the pot, fry it to get the fragrance, then add the carrot diced and stir fry.
5.
Put the diced potatoes into the pot, add a spoonful of cooking wine and some light soy sauce, stir fry evenly.
6.
Add a small spoonful of salt to the pot, stir-fry evenly again, and serve it for later use.
7.
Wash the rice, drain the water, then put the fried ingredients and rice into the inner pot of the rice cooker, and mix all the ingredients evenly.
8.
Add clean water to the rice cooker. The amount of water is slightly less than the usual amount of water for cooking. Close the lid and set the cooking program. After the procedure is over, pour in a little sesame oil, mix well and then put it into a bowl and start enjoying it.
Tips:
1. Bacon has a salty taste, so it can be soaked in water in advance to reduce part of the salty taste.
2. When seasoning soy sauce, the amount of salt should also be reduced.
3. Bacon and other ingredients must be stir-fried beforehand to taste delicious.
4. For the side dishes of braised rice, you can choose the ingredients according to your own taste. Potatoes and carrots can also be replaced with beans, peas, mushrooms, and bacon can be replaced with sausages.
5. When making braised rice, the amount of water is very important. Too much water will make the rice soft, and too little water will cause the rice to become raw. Normally, the amount of water for cooking rice is just a little less.
