Bean Paste

Mix all the main ingredients and knead into a slightly smooth dough

Put it in a warm place and ferment to 2.5 times its size, poke a hole with your hand, and it will not shrink or collapse.

Soak the red adzuki beans overnight in advance, add twice as much water to the pot and cook until they are soft, remove them, and grind them with a spoon. It doesn’t need to be too meticulous. It tastes like a whole bean. Add sugar according to your preference and mix well.

Divide equally into general sized groups by hand

Roll the dough into a thick crust with thin edges in the middle, and put red bean paste on it

Wrap it, close the mouth down, and put it in a warm and humid place to ferment to 2 times the size

Put it in the steamer with a certain interval in between. After the water is boiled, continue to steam for 15 minutes. It is noisy to eat while it is hot, you know what I mean!
