Beef Stew with Lotus Root

Prepare the ingredients.

Wash and cut separately.

Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onions.

Pour in the lotus root and carrots and stir-fry evenly.

Add some salt to taste.

Dilute the old soy with water and pour it into the pot.

Bring to a boil on high fire.

Transfer to a Taji pot, bring to a boil over high heat; cover, and simmer on low heat for 30 minutes.

Pour in the five-spice braised beef.

Add appropriate amount of salt, pour in the light soy sauce, and continue to simmer for 5 minutes.

Sprinkle in coriander and eat away from the fire.
