Beef Stew with Lotus Root

1. Prepare the ingredients.

2. Wash and cut separately.

3. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onions.

4. Pour in the lotus root and carrots and stir-fry evenly.

5. Add some salt to taste.

6. Dilute the old soy with water and pour it into the pot.

7. Bring to a boil on high fire.

8. Transfer to a Taji pot, bring to a boil over high heat; cover, and simmer on low heat for 30 minutes.

9. Pour in the five-spice braised beef.
