Beer Braised Pork Ribs

Prepare the ribs to wash several times with clean water.

Preparation: Spices, green onions, ginger rock sugar, star anise, grass fruit, peppercorns.

Add some water, ribs, peppercorns, and ginger slices to the pot for blanching.

There is no need to cover the pot during the blanching process.

After blanching, remove and rinse, and control the water.

Put an appropriate amount of corn oil in the pot, add all the spices and stir fry to get the flavor.

Pour the ribs and stir-fry to remove the moisture.

Pour in the light soy sauce.

Drizzle in oyster sauce.

Pour the beer.

Pour in a cup of water, bring to a high heat, cover the pot, and boil for 15 minutes on low heat.

After the water volume has been halved, open the lid of the pot and start to harvest the juice.

Add salt, stir-fry for a few minutes on high heat to collect the juice.

After 20 minutes, leave a little bit of broth to turn off the heat and get out of the pot.

Putting beer into the ribs not only removes the fishy taste, but also makes it more fragrant. It can also make the ribs soften faster and reduce the cooking time.
