Big White Buns
1.
Put warm water in the mixing bowl, add yeast to melt, add flour to form a smooth dough, leave it in a warm place to ferment until the volume of the dough increases significantly, and the tissue becomes honeycomb after peeling (the time for the dough to rise depends on the room temperature. Different, it takes about 3 hours or more).
2.
Take out the prepared dough and place it on the chopping board with dried noodles, knead the dough vigorously with both hands to drain the air inside. When kneading, the palm of your right hand presses the dough vigorously, and the left hand gently supports it next to it.
3.
Loosen the dough with your right hand, turn the dough upward with your left hand, and continue to press it with your right hand, repeating this cycle until the dough is very smooth. Sprinkle dry noodles from time to time during this period to prevent sticking.
4.
The kneaded dough is rolled into a strip with the thickness of a wrist.
5.
Cut into duck egg-sized dough.
6.
Take a piece of dough and knead it into an oval with a slightly pointed end and a round end to make a white body. Put more dry flour under and on the chopping board around the body to prevent sticking.
7.
Take another piece of noodles, knead it into a thin strip, and pull out Dabai's head, arms, and legs.
8.
The head is slightly larger, the hands are rounded, the two legs are slightly smaller, but also rounded, and the arms are long.
9.
Dip water on one side of the head and legs and stick them to the corresponding positions.
10.
Squeeze one end of the arm flat, dip the flat end in water, stick it to the shoulder, cut the position of the hand, concave the shape of the hand (don't forget the anti-sticking, otherwise it is not easy to take the big white).
11.
One big white is kneaded (don't light your eyes before steaming in the pot, order it after steaming).
12.
You can also make a sitting big white based on this look.
13.
Pull a piece of noodles, drop a little red pigment, and knead it to form a red dough.
14.
Rub into a long strip, squeeze it, and make a scarf.
15.
Around Dabai's neck.
16.
Take two red noodles the size of mung beans and press them together to form a bow.
17.
Dip one side of the bow with water, stick it on the upper right side of the big white head, and squeeze it into a female big white (there is a little red noodles left, I made a small flower to enlarge the white hand).
18.
After all the big whites are prepared, put them in a bamboo basket and let the lids soak for half an hour. Steam in the pot, and steam for 25 minutes after the water is boiled. After turning off the heat, let it simmer for 5 minutes and open the lid. Use black pigment to draw white eyes and mouth on the head (be sure to finish steaming before drawing, the color will faint before steaming).
