Boiled Beef Slices

Get the ingredients! Cut the beef into thin slices and marinate for more than 1 hour with rice wine, egg white, cornstarch, salt, and light soy sauce.

Stir-fry the lettuce with minced garlic and serve on a plate.

In another pot, pour oil, add sliced ginger, star anise, and green onions to fry until fragrant. Add hot pot base ingredients and stir-fry evenly. Add Chinese pepper and sesame pepper. Add the broth to boil and turn to low heat.

Use chopsticks to lower the marinated beef slices at a fast speed, otherwise the beef will get old, turn it quickly to turn off the heat.

Then pick up the beef slices with chopsticks and place them on top of the lettuce! Then use a pan to heat the oil and pour it on the beef.

Garnish with coriander, or use green onion leaves if you don't have it! The beef is very tasty and very tender.
