Braised herring with scallions can be cooked with more whole scallions, and finally discarded for the fragrant flavor of onions.

Braised Herring with Scallions

1. Main and auxiliary materials: herring, green onion, ginger and garlic.

2. Wash the herring. Hit an oblique knife on the back.

3. Heat oil, fry fragrant ginger and garlic slices.

4. Add the green onion and saute until fragrant.

5. Put in herring.

6. Cook into vinegar and cooking wine successively.

7. After the water in the pot evaporates, cook the soy sauce.

8. Add an appropriate amount of water. After boiling, add salt and sugar to taste. Bake on medium and small fire for about 10 minutes.

9. Turn the fish once in the middle of the cooking. Add MSG for freshness.
Pick out the scallions and put them out of the pot

Tips:

Because the herring has a strong smell, after cooking the vinegar and cooking wine, it should be evaporated by a strong fire to remove the fishy smell.
