Braised Herring with Scallions

1. 2 herrings, green onion, ginger and garlic.

2. Hit a diagonal knife on the herring's back.

3. Heat oil, fry fragrant ginger and garlic slices.

4. Add the green onion and saute until fragrant.

5. Put in herring.

6. Cook into vinegar and cooking wine successively.

7. After the water in the pot evaporates, cook the soy sauce.

8. Add an appropriate amount of water. After boiling, add salt and sugar to taste. Bake on medium and small fire for about 10 minutes.

9. Turn the fish once in the middle of the cooking. Add MSG for freshness.

10. Pick out the green onion segments and put them out of the pot. Sprinkle some chopped green onion to embellish it.
