Cucumbers are one of the vegetables we often eat on the table. Cucumbers have high nutritional value. Fresh cucumbers are usually made in cold dishes, etc., while old cucumbers can be cooked in soup or braised in soy sauce, which are nutritious and delicious.

Braised Old Cucumber

1. Peel and seed the old cucumber, wash and cut into thick slices

2. Then add the oil chili, chopped green onion and garlic slices

3. Stir the garlic slices in a hot pan with warm oil

4. Add cucumbers and stir fry for a nice aroma

5. Pour in the light soy sauce and dark soy sauce and stir-fry evenly

6. Add oil chili

7. Add boiling water, cover with high heat and bring to a boil, then turn to low heat and cook until the cucumbers are cooked and soft

8. Turn on the high heat, collect the sauce, add the chicken essence, turn off the heat, and bring out the pan

9. Put it in a bowl and sprinkle with chopped green onion and serve

Tips:

The stewed old cucumber tastes a bit sour, which can be relieved with sugar. I like to add oily chili for better taste.
