Braised Pork Ribs with Seaweed and Chestnut
1.
Soak dried kelp and slice it for later use.
2.
Boil the chestnuts in boiling water for a while and peel them off, then boil the ribs to blanch them.
3.
After the oil is heated, the ribs are put in the pot, and the water is blown dry and served. Leave the bottom oil in the pot, add ginger slices and sauté fragrant, pour in the fried pork ribs, add water, salt, and braised soy sauce, cover the pot and simmer for about 1 hour.
4.
Then add kelp and chestnut, and simmer until cooked.
Tips:
The kelp is steamed in water for 10 minutes and then soaked in cold water overnight. It is easier to boil. The kelp should not be in contact with fresh water before it is steamed.
