Braised Tofu with Octopus
1.
Prepare the ingredients.
2.
Clean up the octopus (the stall owner will usually help kill it, and it is best to tear off the gray skin on the surface to remove the ink from the eyeballs). Cut tofu into small pieces, prepare appropriate amount of shredded ginger and garlic.
3.
Heat oil in a pan, add ginger and garlic to fry until fragrant.
4.
Then add the octopus to the stir fry.
5.
Pour a few drops of rice wine.
6.
Add an appropriate amount of water to a boil.
7.
After the water is boiled, add the tofu cubes and continue braising (tofu is difficult to taste, you can add appropriate amount of salt in advance).
8.
Simmer until the water is almost dry, add appropriate amount of soy sauce and salt to taste, and sprinkle with chopped green onion at the end.
Tips:
1. The gray skin on the surface of the octopus should be torn off to remove the ink from the eyeballs.
2. Tofu is difficult to cook, it is best not to wait until the final juice is collected before adding salt.
