Braised Tofu with Prawns
1.
Prepare the ingredients (bought tofu is best soaked in water).
2.
The prawns are cut off the silk, and use a toothpick to pick out the prawn string at the second or third joint of the prawn.
3.
Dispose of all the shrimps and clean them for later use.
4.
Cut the tofu into small pieces, prepare some garlic and ginger.
5.
Heat oil in a pan, add garlic and ginger to fry until fragrant.
6.
Then add a bowl of water.
7.
After the water is boiled, add the tofu to the stew and add some salt.
8.
Add the prawns when the water is about half of the boil, continue to cover the pot and simmer.
9.
When simmering until 1/3 of the water is left, add the prepared cornstarch (cornstarch: cornstarch, water, soy sauce and mix well).
10.
Finally, heat up the sauce and season it.
Tips:
1. Tofu is more difficult to taste, it is best to add salt and braise in advance.
2. Finally, adding cornstarch can make the tofu more tender and smooth.
