6.
Put the steamed buns on a steamer with oil or a pot with a steamer cloth and let it stand for 30 minutes and then turn on the fire. After the water is boiled, steam for 20 minutes, then turn off the fire and simmer for 5 minutes.
Tips:
1. Because oatmeal is added to the flour, the amount of water is more than that of white flour steamed buns, but it may be adjusted because the water absorption of flour is different, but the total amount is generally greater than the same portion of white flour steamed buns;
2. Use a bread machine and twice the noodles to make the noodles more gluten;
3. I divided into 6 portions. Each steamed bun is larger and can be divided into smaller ones. However, the fermentation effect of steamed buns with oatmeal added will be worse than that of white flour steamed buns, so when dividing the dough, it should be a little larger than white flour steamed buns;
4. Don't open the lid immediately after steaming, but simmer for five minutes to prevent the buns from shrinking.
5. The steamed buns that you can't finish eating can be kept frozen and can be steamed next time.
