Candied Banana
1.
Cut the banana into small pieces.
2.
Peel off the banana skin and save the banana meat.
3.
Sprinkle a spoonful of cornstarch on the banana chunks and stir to make the banana evenly coated with cornstarch.
4.
To prepare fried batter: mix an egg, two spoons of starch, and one teaspoon of cooking oil.
5.
Stir evenly to form a fine paste without particles.
6.
Put the banana chunks into the deep-fried paste and hang it.
7.
Pour an appropriate amount of cooking oil into the pot and heat it up.
8.
Add the battered banana chunks and fry until golden brown.
9.
Remove the fried banana chunks and set aside.
10.
In a separate pot, add sugar and warm water in a 2:1 ratio of sugar to water.
11.
Stir while heating to melt the sugar.
12.
When the syrup turns yellow and is bubbling densely, turn down the heat. Dip a little bit of syrup with chopsticks and drop it into cold water. The syrup solidifies quickly. If you pick it up and chew it crunchy, it means the syrup is ready.
13.
Pour the banana cubes into the boiled syrup and stir-fry a few times to make the banana cubes roll with the syrup.
14.
Serve and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Brush the plate with oil in advance.
15.
This is ready to eat.
