Chicken Drumsticks Braised Rice

Prepare the ingredients first. The chicken legs can also be replaced with pork or ribs.

Peel and dice potatoes, dice carrots, and peel off corn kernels from corn. Raw corn does not need to be cooked.

Cut the chicken drumsticks into small pieces, blanch them in water, remove them, and wash them again.

Put oil in the pot, put the scallion and ginger in the pot, pour in the blanched chicken nuggets, stir fry, add star anise, bay leaves, cinnamon to taste, pour in light soy sauce and dark soy sauce, and stir fry.

Add appropriate amount of water, add the cut potato pieces, carrots and corn kernels, season with salt, and cook for a few minutes.

Wash the rice, soak it for a few minutes, so that the cooked rice is delicious.

Pour the chicken along with the soup and vegetables into the rice. If you want to save trouble, you can omit the step of frying the chicken pieces above. Put the vegetables and the blanched chicken directly into the rice cooker, and add the light soy sauce and dark soy sauce. With seasonings and salt, you can cook the rice directly.
