Christmas Tree Salad
1.
Put the potatoes in a small pot and steam them over medium heat for about 20 minutes.
2.
Put a teaspoon of salt and some olive oil in a pot with water and bring to a boil. Break the broccoli florets and let go of the water.
3.
Remove the warm boiled water and drain it for later use.
4.
Chop the cucumber and cut the cooked eggs into small pieces (cut a bit bigger, because my son doesn’t like eggs, it’s easy to pick them out).
5.
Peel the steamed potatoes in a small bowl and crush them with a spoon.
6.
Add eggs and cucumbers.
7.
Squeeze in the salad dressing, add salt and pepper, and mix well.
8.
The well-mixed mashed potatoes are placed in a pan into a cone.
9.
Sharpen the stem of the broccoli with a knife.
10.
Starting from the bottom of the mashed potatoes, insert the broccoli layer by layer on the mashed potatoes.
11.
Insert into a tree.
12.
Cut the cherry tomatoes in pairs, with the cut side facing inward, and fill in the broccoli gaps for decoration.
13.
Feel free to squeeze the salad dressing.
14.
Cut carrot slices into star shapes and insert toothpicks on top of the Christmas tree.
