Coconut Braided Bread
1.
In addition to the butter, the bread ingredients are placed in the bread bucket in the order of liquid first, then solid. Salt and sugar should be placed diagonally. Finally, bury the yeast in the flour.
2.
Choose two kneading programs, put butter softened at room temperature in, and continue kneading after selecting two kneading programs.
3.
The dough at this time is smooth and delicate. Select the fermentation button to ferment.
4.
It can be made into coconut paste. After the butter has softened, add granulated sugar and mix well. Add egg liquid and minced coconut. Set aside a little bit of egg wash and use it for the bread. Stir well until the minced coconut forms a ball.
5.
The fermentation time is about one hour, and the dough has been fermented to twice its size.
6.
Dip your fingers into the flour and press the dough so that the hole does not retract or sink.
7.
Use a rolling pin to expel the internal air to the dough and round it.
8.
Divide into two doughs, cover with plastic wrap and relax for 15 minutes.
9.
Divide one of the dough into three small doughs again. Roll out the small dough into an oval shape.
10.
Spread an even layer of coconut filling.
11.
Roll up from one side and become a strip.
12.
The other two small doughs are also rolled into strips. The head meets.
13.
Make a braid and press the tail firmly.
14.
Another way of editing. Roll the dough into a large rectangle.
15.
Spread an even layer of coconut filling.
16.
Roll up from one side and become a strip. All the connections are tightly pressed.
17.
Use a knife to cut the strip of dough from the head. Note: Do not cut the head. Just like the picture. Cross the two cut braids and braid each other. (I didn’t take pictures at this step, I have oil on my hands, so I can’t take pictures)
18.
Arrange the braided bread embryos into the baking tray. Preheat the oven for one minute, put the baking tray in the oven, and then put in a bowl of boiling water for secondary fermentation. Send it to twice its original size.
19.
Take out the egg brush.
20.
The oven is 175 degrees, the middle level is up and down, and it is ready to bake for 25 minutes. The fragrance of the house is full, and you are salivating. The golden color is attractive, isn't it?
Tips:
My oven is Galanz, with mild firepower. The temperature and time in the recipe are for reference only.
