Codonopsis and Angelica Black Chicken Soup

1 Add some oil to the rice or glutinous rice and soak in water for 30-60 minutes. If you use glutinous rice, don’t add oil, because glutinous rice itself is oily. Clean the black-bone chicken, chop off the chicken feet, cut your nails, put the angelica codonopsis and yam ginger on the cloth In the package, wash the chestnuts and red dates and set aside;

2 Stuff the soaked rice, 2-3 chestnuts, and 3 red dates into the belly of the black-bone chicken, then fix it with a toothpick. Note that the rice should not be stuffed too full, otherwise it will not be able to absorb the soup, it will be particularly dry;

3 Put the processed black-bone chicken, chicken feet, cloth bag, the rest of the chestnuts and red dates in a cast iron pot or a casserole or a crock pot, add water to submerge the chicken, bring to a boil on high heat, skim the foam and simmer on a low fire. Until the soup is milky white and the chicken is soft and rotten;

4 Remove the cloth bag after cooking, and sprinkle some salt in the soup before eating. Sometimes I eat the meat lightly, sometimes with seafood soy sauce. This is just casual.
