Crispy Version of American Chocolate Spectacle (modified from Time Magazine Recipe)

Prepare the required raw materials in advance.

After the butter is softened, add fine sugar, and beat the whisk at high speed for 2 minutes to form a fluffy feather.

Add eggs and continue to beat evenly at high speed.

Add vanilla extract

Pour the mixed and sieved powder at one time (baking powder + high powder + low powder)

Press with a spatula and mix well

Pour in chopped chocolate, almonds and pumpkin seeds

Mix thoroughly

Weigh 28 grams of biscuit dough and put it in a baking tray

Turn on the oven and bake at 170 degrees for 28-32 minutes

Tips:
1: The butter must be softened in advance to facilitate dispensation.
2: Eggs should be used at room temperature, otherwise the oil and water will separate.
3: The baking time and temperature are directly related to the size of the cookie dough. The larger the cookie dough, the longer the baking time, and the smaller the cookie dough, the shorter the baking time.
