Dried Fruit Pound Cake

Wash the orange peel and remove the white veins on the inner layer

First cut into thin strips, add appropriate amount of water and 30g sugar to the pot, add orange zest and simmer for ten minutes

Cut 100g butter into small pieces and soften at room temperature (I used half of salted butter and half of unsalted butter)

Add 60g sugar and start to beat

Beat two eggs into egg liquid

Finely chopped dried fruit

Beat until the butter is slightly whitish

Add the egg liquid in portions, stirring well each time

60g flour (whole wheat flour I used), add 40g oat bran and mix well

Add it to the Dafa Good Butter and mix evenly with a spatula

Take out the cooked orange zest and chop

Add to the mixed dough

Add chopped dried fruit and mix well

Put it in a heat-resistant baking bowl or mold

The upper and lower heat of the oven in the middle, 170 degrees for 20 minutes~

Pour the sugar water of boiled orange zest on the surface of the pound cake while it is hot, let it cool and you can eat it!
Tips:
1. The white part of the orange peel must be cleaned, otherwise it will be very bitter;
2. I add oat bran at will, of course, it can also be replaced with flour;
3. Pour the syrup of boiled orange peel on top, and it will be more delicious after cooling!
