Dried Radish Salad

Our pickled radish generally uses this kind of white radish.

Wash the white radish, cut it into strips, and then salt it for a day. It can be salty or light according to your own taste. I usually marinate it lightly, because I also add various seasonings to enhance the flavor.

After marinating, let it dry for about two days. It’s not easy to take too long. If the water evaporates too much, the radish will not be crispy. After the sun has finished, put it in a pot to heat the stew, put star anise, green onion, ginger, pepper, etc. After it is boiled, remove it and mix it with pepper to let cool.

Take a bowl of dried white radish, so you can eat it directly, salty and crunchy. But I prefer to cut into small pieces and mix in the seasoning.

Mix with beef sauce, Haitian cold soy sauce, and sesame oil. You can also mix with chili sauce, sesame sauce and other condiments according to your preference. This kind of dried radish is a good dish for both porridge and meal.
