Farm-style Fried Nuggets

Ingredients: potatoes, flour, cornmeal

Peel and cut into thicker potato slices, about 1cm or so, but don’t cut too thick

Cut the thick potato slices horizontally into strips

Then cut it vertically into even small dices

Put the cut potato pieces into clean water and wash twice, so that it is not easy to oxidize and blacken, and part of the starch is removed

Pour out the water, pick up the potato pieces, make sure the potato pieces are moist, pour in the cornmeal, mix well, and coat the potato pieces evenly with flour

Then put in wheat flour and mix well, so that the potato pieces are evenly coated with a layer of flour

Then put it in a pot and steam over high heat for 8-10 minutes, be sure to control the time, and steam until the potatoes are just cooked.

Take out the steamed potato pieces and put them in a pot and stir to disperse

Heat a little oil in a pan, add the chopped green onion and sauté after the oil is hot

Add pepper powder and sauté

Tips:
Do not steam for too long, no more than 10 minutes, do not have too much water in the potato cubes. Make sure that the potato cubes are moist and soaked with water. Coat the flour and stir fry until the surface is no longer wet. Stir for about 6 minutes.
