The weather in the north is getting colder and colder, and various hot pots are the most seasonal food. The fish head hot pot has a spicy taste and is eaten with various vegetables. It is delicious and not dry. I am not from Sichuan. This fish head hot pot is made according to the tastes of my family. Of course, it is not authentic, it can only be regarded as a home-made method!

Fish Head Hot Pot

1. Prepare the ingredients

2. Put the cabbage on the bottom of the hot pot, add tofu and shiitake mushroom slices

3. The fish head is sliced and spread with a little salt

4. Fry the fish head in a hot pan with cold oil

5. Turn the fish head over, put it in the hot pot bottom and fry until fragrant

6. Add ginger and garlic slices and sauté until fragrant

7. Turn the fish head over, heat water, salt, and dark soy sauce to taste

8. After the high heat is boiled, change to medium heat and cook for 5 minutes

9. Pour into the hot pot and continue to heat

10. Cook until the shiitake mushrooms are mature and the tofu is delicious and ready to eat!

Tips:

I use a small hot pot with alcohol, if you don’t have one, you can use an induction cooker.
