Fresh Meat Dumplings

Soak the glutinous rice one night in advance.

The dried zong leaves bought in advance. Without fresh zong leaves, one can only retreat to second place.

Wash the dried rice dumpling leaves and brown rope, press a heavy object, and soak it in clean water.

Drain the glutinous rice early the next morning.

Cut the pork into dices of the right size.

Wash the iron pot, put a little peanut oil, add ginger slices, sauté fragrant, pour in light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, add a little water, and boil until the soup is thick.

Bring the diced meat into the soup and mix well.

Marinate for two hours.

Mix the glutinous rice with salt, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, chicken essence and peanut oil, and mix well, marinate for a period of time to taste, set aside.

Soaked zong leaves.

Take one or two zong leaves and roll them into a cone shape from about three-fifths. I like small zongzi, so I roll the cone a bit smaller.

Put a part of the glutinous rice first and use chopsticks to insert it tightly.

Add 1-02 pieces of meat and add a little glutinous rice on top. Don't pretend too slowly.

Fold the zong leaves inside and wrap the glutinous rice tightly.

Then fold the right side of the outer zong leaves, squeeze the zong leaves with your right hand, and press the left zong leaves quickly with the thumb of the left hand. The remaining zong leaves are wrapped tightly in the shape of the zongzi and squeeze them right and left.

Press the end of the brown rope with the thumb of the left hand, and wrap the rope around the waist of the zongzi three times with the right hand, and then wrap the right corner of the zongzi two times. Go back to the zongzi and wrap it around the waist twice, then tie the knot,

The left ends of the wrapped zongzi and zong leaves can be cut off with scissors.

Wrapped rice dumplings.

Put the zongzi into the pressure cooker, pour in clean water, and just submerge the zongzi. After boiling and steaming, cook on medium heat for 20 minutes.

Cooked rice dumplings. If you can't finish it at once, you can wrap it and freeze it in the refrigerator. Just heat it in the microwave when you eat it.
