Every Chinese New Year, my mother must fry a large plate of small buns, which are fragrant and crispy, much better than the snacks they buy.

Fried Bun

1. Put white sugar, flour, edible oil, salt, and black sesame seeds in a basin.

2. Stir well.

3. Knead into dough, cover with plastic wrap and let stand for 30 minutes.

4. Roll out into thin slices.

5. Cut long strips first, then small strips, 8 knives each.

6. Fry in the frying pan until golden brown.
