Fried Lotus Root

Prepare the mince, don't get too fat, I bought the mince directly from the supermarket. Add light soy sauce, cooking wine, sugar, chopped green onion and ginger, pepper powder, salt, and sesame oil in sequence.

Chopped cabbage, I used a cabbage core left over before. I don't like pure meat filling, it tastes more delicious with some cabbage. Those who like pure meat can not put it.

Add the chopped cabbage and stir evenly. Stir in one direction as much as possible to make the meat stuffing stronger and taste good.

Stir the meat and set aside, and start to cut the lotus root. The lotus root slices should not be too thick, about 2-3 mm thick, and try to cut evenly.

After cutting it, you can wrap it. Put an appropriate amount of meat filling on the lotus root slices, put the two pieces together, press it with your fingers, so that the meat filling can fill the lotus root eyes.

It will be wrapped soon, and the batter can now be mixed.

Stir the flour with warm water, not too thin. I made it thinner, and later added some flour. You can also add some starch in it. A little thicker is better.

Prepare the oil pan, wait until the oil reaches 60% hot, and then fry.

Coat the lotus root evenly with the batter and put it in the oil pan. When exploding, fire on medium heat.

Shake properly during frying to avoid sticking to the pan.

Tips:
1. The batter should not be too thin, otherwise it won't hang.
2. Don't cut the lotus root too thick, it will be hard to fry.
