Fried Lotus Root with Dried Radish
1.
Wash the lotus root and cut it vertically into strips, boil water in a pot, blanch it in the water and remove it for later use.
2.
Buy dried radish chili sauce. If you don’t have one at home, you can use garlic, chili and radish instead.
3.
Heat oil in a pot, add appropriate amount of chili sauce and saute until fragrant, then add shallots.
4.
Stir-fry a few times, put in the green pepper, cover the pot, let it sit for a minute or two, continue to stir-fry in the middle, so that each lotus root can be evenly heated. Pour in the right amount of light soy sauce at the end.
Tips:
Because there is a lot of salt and seasoning in the chili sauce, there is no need to add salt, just add some light soy sauce to improve the color. But if you use garlic, chili and radish instead, you must add salt and an appropriate amount of chicken essence. This is to be prepared according to your personal taste.
