Grilled Squid on Hot Plate with Korean Spicy Sauce
1.
Wash the squid, squeeze out the eyes and mouth, take out the cartilage, cut the head and body, and drain the water.
2.
Three spoons of vegetable oil, one tablespoon of Korean hot sauce, cumin powder and thirteen spices, a little bit of cooking wine, mix and stir well.
3.
It looks very sticky after mixing well.
4.
Preheat the electric baking pan and brush the oil evenly.
5.
Put the head on the electric baking pan, and the squid must be flat.
6.
Brush the sauce evenly with a brush.
7.
Turn it over later and brush the sauce evenly on the other side.
8.
Put the lid on the electric baking pan and heat it up and down together, and it's almost done in about ten seconds. The sauce can be brushed several times.
9.
Cut it out and put it on the plate.
10.
The squid must be grilled.
11.
Next, spread the squid slices on the electric baking pan. After brushing the sauce evenly, turn it over.
12.
Use kitchen scissors to cut the sides of the squid slices into strips. This is more delicious and easy to cook.
13.
Cut the other side as well, leaving a piece in the middle to connect, don't cut it. Use a brush to smear the sauce in the gap between each strip.
14.
Cover the lid of the electric baking pan, heat it up and down together, for about 20 seconds, use chopsticks to test the elasticity of the squid slices, and they can be served on a plate when they are cooked.
Tips:
1. The body and head are separated because their maturation time is different. The body is thicker and slower to ripen, and squid whiskers are easier to ripen.
2. You can brush the sauce several times, because the sauce is sticky and easy to hang on the squid.
3. For those who like spicy food, you can sprinkle some dried chili noodles and cooked sesame seeds before they are out of the pot to make them more spicy.
4. The squid slice itself is salty, and the Korean chili sauce also has a salty taste, so there is no need to add salt, otherwise the squid will become hard and old, and it will be too salty.
5. The upper cover and the lower plate of the electric baking pan are heated together, which is equivalent to pressing the squid slices in the middle, which is not easy to curl, and the heating is even, which is more trouble-free.
