The ham and potato stewed rice is a characteristic of Chengjiang, Yunnan. The authentic stewed rice is braised in a copper pot. Because there is no copper pot at home, it is cooked in an ordinary pot. Ruanliang prefers northeast rice to make it, which is a delicious blessing.

Ingredients

Ham and Potato Braised Rice

1. Prepare the ham, peel the potatoes and set aside

2. Cut potatoes into small pieces for later use

3. Cut the ham into small cubes the same size as the potatoes and set aside
