Health Congee with Red Dates and Lotus Seeds

Put the miscellaneous grains rice except lotus seeds, longans, and red dates into a container and soak for 1 hour to make it easier to boil.

Wash the lotus seeds and soak them separately. I have soaked with rice several times before and found that even the pressure cooker cannot boil the lotus seeds. Later, if they are soaked separately, they will be easily boiled. I wonder if it is related to the soaking with rice.

Pour all the rice, lotus seeds and soaking water into the Supor health pot, and then add an appropriate amount of water. Turn on the Yangshengtang mode.

Wash the red dates and shell the longan. When the porridge is cooked until there are 20 minutes left, add red dates and longan, and continue to cook.

When the Yangshengtang mode time is up, add rock sugar powder, mix well and enjoy.
Tips:
Do not soak lotus seeds with rice, otherwise it may be difficult to boil. Personal experience, if it is like this, you can try it out.
If you are not adding rock sugar powder but rock sugar cubes, put the rock sugar cubes in the porridge in advance and cook together.
Put the red dates and longans last, otherwise it will reduce the sweetness and affect the taste.
