Homemade Char Siew

For the raw materials, the pork belly is peeled and washed for later use.

Cut the pork belly into two pieces and pat the garlic loosely.

Spread the meat evenly with sugar, add an appropriate amount of barbecued pork sauce and hoisin sauce.

Add garlic, salt and some dark soy sauce, and mix well.

Cover the lid and put in the refrigerator to marinate for more than 24 hours.
6.
Preheat the oven at 180 degrees, and bake on the top and bottom for 25 minutes.
Tips:
Adding sugar to the marinated meat can promote the swelling of collagen protein and make the meat tissue soft and juicy.
You can apply a layer of honey when it's almost ripe, I'm lazy to omit this step.
The specific baking time depends on the actual situation of each oven.
