This dish is very similar to our traditional homemade tofu, except that the pork inside is replaced with chicken. The taste is the same. There is a soy product called homemade tofu that is specially cooked with black fungus and pork slices. I rarely see it now. I bought a little when I saw it in the supermarket that day. I replaced the pork with very tender chicken breasts, which tasted better.

Homemade Chicken Tofu

1. Wash home-made tofu with warm water and scoop it up, soak the black fungus and wash it off, and wash the chicken breast.

2. First cut the chicken breast into slices and then into strips

3. Put 2 grams of salt, 15 milliliters of cooking wine and a spoon of cornstarch into a bowl, mix well and marinate for one hour

4. Prepare green onion, garlic slices, ginger slices and sesame soy sauce

5. 2 tablespoons cornstarch melted with water

6. Add the chicken fillets in a hot pan with warm oil and fry until all the color changes

7. Reserve the ginger and garlic slices and sauté until fragrant

8. Then pour in the homemade tofu and black fungus and stir fry until it tastes good

9. Add light soy sauce and a little boiled water and stir-fry evenly

10. Cover and turn to low heat for 5 minutes to let it taste

11. Open, add chicken fillet and sesame spicy soy sauce, stir fry evenly

12. Add a little sugar to taste

13. Then thicken the starch with water and turn off the heat

14. Sprinkle with chopped green onion and serve

Tips:

1. The chicken fillet in this dish has been marinated with salt to taste, just add light soy sauce when cooking;
2. White sugar can neutralize the taste of spicy soy sauce and improve the freshness, making the dishes have a sweet and fresh taste. You can leave it out if you don't like it.
