My husband likes to eat Shaqima, but every time I buy it, I always mutter a few words, who knows what kind of oil is used! One day at a family gathering, my mother-in-law talked about making peanuts and sesame candy during the Chinese New Year. I suddenly learned that Shaqima could do the same thing by herself. So I asked my mother-in-law for advice. It’s not difficult to buy items and go home. The taste is good, but the selling is a bit different. The guests came to the house as soon as it was cooled down, and the husband sold them now and cut them up on the spot to ask the guests to taste them. Haha, the photos were not taken yet, but I’m very happy to be praised."

Homemade Sachima

1. Mix the flour and baking powder and beat in the eggs

2. Make it into a smooth dough, cover it with a wet cloth and let it go for 30 minutes

3. Stir-fried black sesame seeds

4. Put the melon seeds in the microwave for 1 minute

5. Dry the grapes and drain the water

6. Roll the dough into a 2mm thick dough

7. Sprinkle a little cornstarch on the rolled dough sheet to prevent sticking, and stack it up

8. Cut into thin strips

9. Shake it apart and cut into sections about 8cm long

10. Pour an appropriate amount of vegetable oil into the pot and cook until it is 50% hot, divide the thin noodles into the pot and fry (put it down quickly and it will be fried)

11. All the vermicelli is fried

12. Start cooking the syrup. Pour the white sugar, water, and maltose into the pot and heat up on a low heat

13. Continue to cook

14. Dip some syrup with chopsticks and lift it up. After a little cooling, you can pull out the silk syrup and boil it.

15. Pour the fried noodles, black sesame seeds, melon seeds and raisins into the pot, stir fry quickly, and coat them with syrup evenly

16. Pour it into a greased paper pan while it is hot, compact it, and cut into pieces for consumption after cooling.
