Irish Style Roast Pork

Preheat the oven to 150°C.

Slice the onion and cut the garlic into minced garlic.

If the pig hair is not clean, you can use a spray gun to burn off the pig hair, and then immediately rinse the pig skin with cold water.

Sprinkle with a handful of salt and black pepper to marinate the pork for a few minutes.

Cut the potatoes into large pieces and set aside.

Put onions, garlic mash, and two-thirds of sage in the baking dish.

Pour the broth.

Put in the marinated pork.

Pour the cider on the pork slowly.

Sprinkle sage, cinnamon, and five-spice powder on the surface of the pork.

Put potatoes in.

Wrap the baking tray tightly with tin foil and bake it in the oven at 150°C for 2-3 hours until the pork becomes soft.

During this period, you need to open 2-3 times to pour the broth onto the pork.

The oven is heated to 200°C.

Sprinkle brown sugar on the pork skin and continue roasting for 15-20 minutes until the sugar melts and the surface of the pork is caramel-colored.

Pour the soup on the surface of the pig skin and continue to bake for 5-10 minutes.
Tips:
1 It is recommended to use a whole piece of pork belly without bones, and other parts with skin can be used.
2 Stock can be replaced with water and thick soup.
