Iron Pot Bacon Rice

Because the pot is not used every day, and it will be coated with oil after use to prevent rust. In order to keep the taste of the rice unchanged and clean, wash the pot first, and then boil a pot of water to remove the oily smell;

Wash the rice down the pot, put water about half your index finger deep, add 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper, stir for a few times, then add bacon, green beans, corn and sesame oil;

Cover the pot and bake for 30-35 minutes in a preheated 400°F oven;

When the time is up, lift the lid and serve the rice out. If it is not salty enough, add some light soy sauce and mix well;

Put the rice out, the bottom of the pot is not too sticky, so it can be cleaned after soaking in water for a period of time.

2. It feels that the heating in the oven is more even than the cooking on the stove, so the bottom of the pot is not too burnt.
