Congee is a frequent visitor at my family's table. Both adults and children like to drink porridge very much. Red dates for blood, walnuts for brain, the two are more nutritious when paired with porridge.

Jujube Walnut Porridge

1. Prepare ingredients, a small cup of rice, 3 packets of dates with walnuts.

2. Cut dates and walnuts into small pieces.

3. After washing the rice, put it in the pot along with the chopped dates and walnuts, add an appropriate amount of water, and start the porridge.

4. After about half an hour, the rice grains will be soft.

5. It would be a blessing to have such a bowl of porridge for breakfast.
