During the Laba Festival, drinking Laba porridge is an indispensable traditional custom. Now that you have a pressure cooker, let’s easily cook a pot of steaming, delicious and nutritious Laba porridge for your family!

Ingredients

Laba Congee

1. Soak peanuts and red beans one night in advance

2. Wash the red dates, peel the chestnuts and longans and set aside

3. Wash all the rice and soak for 30 minutes

4. Boil water in a pressure cooker, add peanuts and red beans and cook for 5 minutes

5. Then add red dates, longan and chestnut kernels and boil

6. Then pour in all the rice, stir well, cover, cover and cook on high heat until airy, then turn to medium heat for 15 minutes.

Tips:

1: Harder beans must be soaked in advance.
2: Don't rush to drink after boiling, it will be more viscous if simmered for 20 minutes
