Lotus Leaf Glutinous Rice

Prepare the ingredients. The red beans, glutinous rice and lotus leaves were soaked in cold water before going to bed last night, and dried mushrooms and peanuts were soaked in boiling water for half an hour the next day. Diced chicken thigh meat is bought directly frozen.

Pour oil in a hot pan, and stir-fry the mushrooms for a minute.

Add red beans, shiitake mushrooms, peanuts, glutinous rice, add soy sauce, chicken powder, mix and stir evenly, set aside for 10 minutes.

Take a piece of lotus leaf, cut it in half, and cut it into the shape you want. Spread it flat on the chopping board, add glutinous rice and chicken.

After boiling, put it in a lid and steam for 30 minutes. .

Remove the lid after 30 minutes, then remove the steaming pan, put the lotus leaf rice in the water, cover and cook for 30 to 40 minutes.

Tips:
If you want to add salt, you can use less soy sauce. It can also be boiled directly without steaming, and the lotus leaves will be fine without breaking.
