Lotus Root Bun

The baking powder is dissolved in warm water and poured into the middle of the flour. Knead it into a smooth dough and leave it in an airtight, warm place to ferment. The flour is fermented to double its size, and the surface is covered with honeycombs. Prepare minced meat and lotus root.

The lotus root is shredded and chopped.

Put a piece of minced lotus root with minced meat, salt and soy sauce.

Stir the filling evenly.

Knead the dough into long strips, pick small sections, roll out, and put in the fillings.

Fold the skin filled with fillings one at a time, and finally squeeze it together.

Put it in a steamer, cover and let it stand for 30 minutes, and then ferment it twice.

Steam with boiling water on high heat for 30 minutes.

After steaming, simmer for 5 minutes and it will be OK.
Tips:
Do not open the lid immediately after it is steamed, it will not shrink if it is simmered.
