Medicated Chicken Pot
1.
The old hen is handled, washed, and drained for later use.
2.
First soak the tangerine peel with warm water, then scrape off the white layer of the tangerine peel with a knife, and then chop the tangerine peel.
3.
Cut Beiqi and Codonopsis into sections, cut the red dates and remove the pits. If the angelica is large, cut into small pieces (you don’t need to cut the angelica), slice the ginger, and cut the spring onion and coriander into sections.
4.
Finally, in a large bowl, soak Codonopsis and Beiqi in warm water for about 20 minutes, and wash the red dates, angelica and wolfberry.

6.
Heat up the pan and put the oil, wait until the oil is hot, put the ginger slices and saute.
7.
Pour the chicken over the fire and stir fry
8.
When the chicken is golden brown, pour the rice wine until the pan starts to dry. Pour the Beiqi, Codonopsis, Dangshen, Tangerine Peel, Angelica, and Chinese wolfberry, and then pour the soy sauce.
9.
Pour hot water to cover the chicken.
10.
Cover the pot and bring to a boil, then turn to low heat and simmer for 45 minutes. (If you have a casserole, pour it into the casserole and simmer slowly)
11.
When the time is up, sprinkle the salt, add the green onions and coriander, and then serve. After the stew, you can also put the meat on the stove and use the soup as the bottom of the hot pot, which is enough for game!
Tips:
1. Why soak Codonopsis and Beiqi? Because some medicinal materials are sprayed with sulfur in order to look better, they will be sour if they are not soaked, so sometimes the soup is sour for this reason.
2. Because the old hen is used, the stewing time can be prolonged if the meat is too tough.
