Melaleuca Hair Cake

Put 200 grams of flour and 100 grams of corn flour into a basin, use warm water to dissolve the yeast powder, add it to the flour and stir it, add an appropriate amount of warm water to knead the dough, knead it into a smooth dough, cover with fresh film, and leave it in a warm place to ferment; A good dough is shown in Figure 1. Sprinkle an appropriate amount of flour on the panel, and put the dough on the panel

Add in baking soda and knead until it is smooth. Use a rolling pin to roll into a 2 cm thick rectangular dough sheet.

Spread a layer of sugar and vegetable oil on the dough, spread it evenly, as shown in Figure 1, fold the dough from the right third, as shown in Figure 2.

Fold the left third as shown in Figure 1, and then fold the dough in half as shown in Figure 2.

Use a rolling pin to roll the dough into a large dough sheet as shown in Figure 1. Add sugar, grease, and fold in half as shown in Figure 2. Repeat this three times

Fold the dough into a rectangular shape for the third time, as shown in Figure 1. (This step can be folded into a square one more time), add water to the steamer, put the dough into the steamer, and cover the pot for 15 minutes; after the fire is boiled, count the time 20 minutes, turn off the heat and simmer for 5 minutes

Melaleuca pudding is out of the pot, let it cool and cut it into a shape you like, then you can serve it on the plate.
Tips:
1. The dough must be soft and the dough must be kneaded thoroughly;
2. The dough must be rolled out, so that there are relatively many layers;
3. Friends who like sweets can put a layer of raisins and candied fruits on top of the hair cake.
