Mom's Taste of Eight Treasures Glutinous Rice

Soak glutinous rice overnight, and make two large bowls for one catty of glutinous rice.

Put the soaked glutinous rice in a pot and steam it. Must be steamed! I don't like to cook, because I am afraid that it will be too soft. Steaming is better to control the softness of glutinous rice.

Brush a layer of lard on the bowl, it will be easier to pour out.

Take out the steamed glutinous rice and add lard. The amount of lard is according to personal preference. 27 prefers heavy mouthfuls. Therefore, there is more oil. In short, the glutinous rice feels bright and shiny~

I made two flavors, a bowl of white sugar, and the amount of sugar is controlled according to personal taste.

Another bowl of brown sugar to taste~

Put all kinds of preserved fruits and nuts you like on the bottom of the bowl.

Add half of 250g glutinous rice, compact and flatten.

Add red bean filling or lotus paste filling. I have red bean filling with white sugar and lotus paste filling with brown sugar. Flatten.
