Soak several herbs in warm water for 10 minutes. (In order to avoid accidentally ingesting the sulfur contained in the medicinal materials, which may affect the body, I usually soak the medicinal materials with warm water before boiling the soup, so that some of it can be removed appropriately.)

Add ginger slices to the pot.
