Mulberry Rose

The mulberries were rinsed with running water and then soaked in light salt water for 10 minutes.

Press the mulberries with a spoon to strain out the juice.

Mix flour, yeast and sugar, and mix the noodles with mulberry juice and appropriate amount of water.

Make a smooth dough, cover it with a damp cloth and leave it in a warm place to ferment.

Mix 200g flour, 2g yeast, and 5g sugar, add water and make a white dough, cover it with a damp cloth and leave it to ferment in a warm place.

The fermented dough is 2-2.5 times larger than the original dough.

Take out the purple dough and put it on the chopping board, knead out the gas, and divide it into small doses of about 10g.

Roll it into a dumpling skin shape, a stack of 6 pieces, and press it in the middle with chopsticks.

Rub a small medicament into a strip and place it on one end to make a flower core.

Roll up from the end where the flower core is placed, cut in the middle, and stand up to two small roses.

The finished roses are fermented for the second time in a steamer covered with cloth.

Steam in a pot on cold water after the second steaming, and steam for 15 minutes after steaming.
